fun releases

As much as I like to make serious releases, I also enjoy making work that isn't as seriously, but I still put in serious effort.
I will also feature secret aliases on this page that I have not told anybody else about, this is especially for you :)

Severance Main Titles with the Shin Megami Tensei Soundfont (2025)

Being a huge fan of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, or Megaten for short, I have developed this phenomenon I'd like to refer to as Megaten Brain in which I develop the ability to see Shin Megami Tensei and Persona references in anything I perceive.
After finishing the second season of Severance, I certainly saw a lot of parallels, but it wasn't until I saw this Super Mario 64 soundfont version of the intro song that I decided to make my own version, which has become a niche treasure within the Megaten community!

Frutiger Aqua (2022)

After learning about the 2000s Frutiger Aero aesthetic, I felt inspired to recontextualise this old loop I made back in the summer of '21 and give it a visualiser inspired by both Frutiger Aero as well as the Mac OS X Aqua design from Apple. This video really started taking off when it got featured in the Frutiger Aero Mix by Arpwire TV! It has since become one of my most popular songs!

LOTS OF TIME (2022)

Thinking about this song about procrastination from the Ned's Declassified soundtrack, I wanted to give my own spin to it, inspired by the works of British artist The Caretaker, who makes work inspired by Alzheimer's. In his album Everywhere at the End of Time, he explores the stages of Alzheimer's through what he refers to as "haunted ballroom" music as inspired the ballroom from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, in which the music slowly fades away over the span of six hours.
In my recontextualisation of Lots Of Time, I extracted the vocal and instrumental stems to make the vocals a bit more present and give them a delay and extra reverb as the music begins to slow down to the point of becoming unrecognizable, giving the song new meaning about how one could interpret having "lots of time"

URL60: TIMEWARP Set (2022)

Technically my first ever solo performance, URL60 is an online festival in which 60 artists do a 60 second music set over the span of 60 minute livesteam! I was playbacking to a pre-made mix for I am not yet fluent in the SP404.
Visuals are done by me, too!

Gorilla Galleria - Mallsoft for Monkeys (2021)

Gorilla Galleria is an online pseudonym for "monkey music", Mallsoft for Monkeys explores the infamous Mallsoft music subgenre known for emulating the ambience of (abandoned) malls, coated in primate fashion!
This album samples the soundtracks of Donkey Kong, Ape Escape, Escape from Monkey Island, Super Monkey Ball as well as songs and commercials dedicated to bananas, combined with the warm textures of monkeys and mall soundscapes. It's the ultimate soundtrack for consumerist primates!

Crank Banshee - Crank Banshee 0 (2021)

Monkey-themed parody of the album Blank Banshee 0 by the Canadian artist Blank Banshee!

fonQ (Phonk Remix) (2021)

Being a fan of both the fonQ commercials and the Phonk music genre, I just had to combine the two!

The Haunted Ghost Notes - Music For Libraries (2021)

April fools prank that I did in which I spent weeks hyping up the crowd for this release!

NS Type Beat (2020)

Initially made as a joke loop in 2019, I sampled the well-known NS intercom sound into a catchy beat!

Languish Health Center - Songs to Hate the Next Morning: Vol. 1 (2020)

Listening to my old alarm clock in its entirety one evening, I was fascinated by the composition of alarm clock music and made my own songs I actually used as my alarm,

Forgotten Sounds Of Utrecht (2019)

From 2019 to 2021, I used to be part of the social media team of the now-defunct HZTeam youth platform of Het Zuidelijk Toneel in Tilburg.
Although the HZTeam instagram profile has sadly disappeared, the HZTV web series is fortunately still available online, Forgotten Sounds of Utrecht is the background music I specifically composed for HZTV, inspired by the video talking about Utrecht's untold stories in promotion of the show of Laura van Dolron.

Tomoyoshi Sato Type Beat (2018)

Been wanting to learn how to produce music all year but being constantly occupied with theatre projects, I found myself on a two-week holiday in Italy with my best friends and a lot of free time. I took this opportunity to finally learn how to produce music rather than having to rely on purchasing instrumentals or stock music.
Inspired by the nerdcore beats of Mahareshi, I too decided to sample the soundtracks of Gameboy Advance games, which is still a large influence on my current releases!
Fun fact: This song was produced in 96 bpm, and most of my modern day songs still use that exact tempo because of this!

Dino Shirt (2013)

Cheesy song I made inspired by this inside joke that originated all the way back in 2011 when I did a vlog on Hyves wearing a shirt with a dinosaur, causing someone to comment how I looked "cool and reliable", solely due to the fact that I was wearing a shirt with a dinosaur on it.

Wryyy (Sparta Remix) (2009)

This is it. This is my first ever musical creation!
I'm very happy to have seen you scrolled all the way down here, 110 lines of HTML code later! Inspired by the Sparta Remix fad of the 2000s, I wanted to give my own spin to it by sampling this sound I found rather comical, not knowing it was from the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, which is known to have numerous, meme-worthy references!
Everybody starts somewhere; Doing covers, music classes(which I had too), but I am not to ashamed at all to admit that my start in music was indeed another JoJo's reference. It's funny how life works like that.
I made this in Audacity, the instrumental is an alternative version of the original, made by Tachin1994
